In our first collaboration with Viola and Vera Arrivabene, we have got 2 exclusive colour combinations in velvet. They built Vibi Venezia inspired by the traditional Venetian furlane slipper – a style worn by gondoliers for centuries. Crafted in Italy, they’re shaped from sumptuous velvet to a rounded toe, fastening via a silver-buckled arch strap then finished with the label’s signature whipstitched midsoles and stitch-embroidered rubber soles.
Vibi Venezia’s signature slippers are modelled after the shoes worn by gondoliers in Venice, known as furlanes. They’re handcrafted in Italy from push velvet with contrast grosgrain edges and are lined in canvas, then finished with whipstitched rubber grip soles – traditionally made from old bicycle tires based on the original boatman’s style. These two colour combinations are exclusive to our collaboration with sisters Viola and Vera Arrivabene.
