Papouelli began with a simple idea: to create beautiful children’s shoes without compromising on comfort, quality or fit.

When we founded the company over twenty years ago, we were mothers searching for the kind of shoes we wanted for our own children—timeless designs, exceptional craftsmanship and styles that celebrated childhood while standing up to everyday adventures. Unable to find exactly what we were looking for, we decided to create them ourselves.

Every Papouelli shoe is designed in-house in London and handcrafted in Europe using the finest leathers and traditional shoemaking techniques. Inspired by classic European design, our collections combine timeless elegance with a contemporary sensibility, creating shoes that are equally at home at school, on holiday and at life’s most memorable celebrations.
From tiny baby shoes and first walkers to styles for teenagers, every collection is created with growing feet in mind.

Beautiful fit is just as important to us as beautiful design. As trained shoe fitters, we understand the importance of healthy foot development, and our experienced team is always available to offer expert advice both in-store and online.

As our own children grew, so did Papouelli. We recognised that older children often struggled to find stylish, well-made shoes, so we extended our collections up to European size 45—allowing many families to stay with Papouelli for years.

Today, alongside our footwear collections, we also offer a carefully chosen edit of clothing and accessories that reflects the same values of timeless style, exceptional quality and thoughtful design.

More than anything, we remain passionate about creating shoes that children love to wear and parents are proud to buy. Every season begins with the same question we asked ourselves when Papouelli was founded:
