We had great fun designing this oversized peacoat in collaboration with Lacuna Child. The end result is a modern take on a heritage design, totally unisex, made in the UK and finished by hand.
The peacoat is made of Melton wool – created by weaving yarn on the warp and weft. The fabric is then fulled – one of the processes used in creating melton to give that felt-like finish.
A supremely warm classic coat will work perfectly with all your winter clothing. Wool, especially this heavy, is naturally showerproof as well.
The Peacoat is designed to be worn a little oversized, you can roll the sleeves up and layer underneath. This a coat to be loved and worn, with the notion that it will pass down from one child to another which really appeals to us.
Lacuna Child hides size and care labels in pockets so there are no annoying labels in necks or waistband where appropriate.
